We are excited to share that the nomination deadline for the Rising Star Nurse Leader Program has been extended to May 1, 2023! Keep reading to find out how to nominate a young nurse leader.

The Tennessee Nurses Association and Tennessee Hospital Association have partnered with the Tennessee Action Coalition to acknowledge emerging nurse leaders under 40. This program is developed to engage and empower younger nurses to lead the profession and improve the health of Tennesseans. Once selected, participants can engage in program opportunities to network with peers as well as established nursing leaders from across the state.

Program participants will be selected based on demonstrated qualifications and criteria. The selection committee also aims to include diverse individuals representing various Tennessee regions, practice settings, roles, racial/ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
