Robin Schaeffer, co-leader of the Arizona Action Coalition and executive director of the Arizona Nurses Association, was appointed to Gov. Jan Brewer’s new Council on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response. Robin represents the Arizona Nurses Association on that Council, and is joined by representatives of 20 other organizations.

Gov. Brewer created the Arizona Council on Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response on Oct. 21 to develop a coordinated and comprehensive plan to ensure that Arizona is prepared to manage and respond to potential epidemics of infectious diseases, including the Ebola virus.
