RWJF White Paper Gives Examples of Interprofessional Collaboration
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in spring 2015 released a report that explores best practices to improve patient care through interprofessional collaboration (IPC). The report, Lessons From the Field: Promising Interprofessional Collaboration Practices, highlights more than 20 hospitals and community health centers that use IPC to achieve better health outcomes.
The report reviews the principles and best practices that these hospitals use, providing a road map for other health care organizations wishing to emulate the approach.
