Anne Singer, MPhil

Anne Singer is a writer and editor for the Center to Champion Nursing in America, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to improve America’s health through nursing. She writes about nursing, health equity and policies affecting consumers’ access to care for the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action. Anne has nearly 20 years of experience helping nonprofits and advocacy groups use old and new media to build audiences and advance their missions. As a strategic communicator, she has worked to improve human health and the environment, internet access, state and federal tax policy, end-of-life care and more.
She received an MPhil from the City University of New York in linguistics and anthropology with a focus on U.S. political discourse. Her bachelor’s degree is in cultural anthropology is from the University of Michigan.
