Nurses are among those who allow other Americans to enjoy a day off, but do not necessarily get the day off themselves. For that, we should all be thankful.

Today the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action gives thanks to every nurse, whether you’re working on Thanksgiving Day or not, who contributes to making us all better, healthier, happier people, individually and as a nation. Whether you are in a hospital, clinic, school, public health facility, workplace, teaching others, or researching, you probably do not hear it enough: Thank you, and we hope you enjoy Thanksgiving–whenever it is that you sit down with family and friends.
