The Nursing Workforce Diversity Program (NWD), funded by HRSA, is a robust program that supports diverse nursing students through the rigor of nursing school.  It provides academic and non-academic support through a mentoring program, an academic success course, tutoring, financial support, peer networking, and wrap-around services for SDOE.  Additionally, faculty and staff from partner schools receive a multitude of resources and training to help their nursing programs achieve holistic admissions, clinical and didactic teaching excellence, cultural competence and inclusive and equitable learning environments.
