Nursing Supporting Individuals, Families and Communities is the third in a series of virtual convenings with the goal of engaging a range of stakeholders, including consumer, business and health care organizations, on improving our nation’s health equity through a more diverse nursing workforce.
Objectives:
- Examine how structural racism and social injustice impacts the wellbeing of communities;
- Explore COVID-19’s impact on underserved communities and the nursing workforce; and
- Learn about the contributions of some of nursing’s hidden figures, who shaped the nursing workforce and the way in which nurses provide care.
